A new way to protest
The Bexley and Bromley Conservatives in London have been campaigning against post office closures and they’ve made a youtube video which they have hosted on their website. The protest concerns a Crown office in Bromley which is proposed for franchising to WHSmith.
Full marks to them for using a new technology. A pity that they forgot to make representations to the Greater London Region of Postwatch.
In fact, nine Crown offices in London are currently the subject of consultations by Post Office Limited and members of the Greater London Regional Committee have visited all of the sites - including Bromley - and the Regional Chairman Roger Darlington has made appropriate written representations to POL.
