SMEs: A chance to have your say
It's been great to hear from customers with their thoughts on the current strikes and following on from this we would specifically like to hear, on this occassion, from SMEs.
As mentioned in a previous blog entry we are conducting research on the current and future needs of SMEs and would love to hear from any such organisations that would be willing to be interviewed over the telephone.

i'm a postman in the ng9 area. For the past 2weeks we have been working to the new schedule as given by our d.o.m(Delivery off man) The result has been that in eccess of 80% of walks have not been completed.
In the past we subsidised r.m by using our cars for delivery.
This has now been curtailed by 90% of the office however some p.m still use there own cars and carry more then 1 bag of mail to there walks. THIS IS ILLEGAL because they are only insured by r.m to carry one bag to delivery point.
This is because they are infeer of the possible actions (aactions of the d.o.m) i.e dismissle.
Royal Mail has based its costs and financial plans on the good will of the local postman this good will has now been withdrawn so the postal servises in the Ng9 area are in chaos
This action we hope will spread to all other areas and so "normal" servises will no longer continue
Please complain about the changes to the postal servise.
