Government services and post offices

In this article in today's "Guardian" newspaper, Michael Cross reviews the shift towards citizens accessing Government services on-line - which has already had a substantial impact on the number of transactions in post offices - and he suggests that there should be a chain of e-government shops that could even sell stamps. Of course, another idea would be the reverse concept: to make post offices a 'one stop shop' for all government services whether physical or electronic.
