Colin remains at his post

Anyone really interested in the future of the post office network will have come across the indefatigable Colin Baker, General Secretary of the National Federation of Subpostmasters. Colin was due to retire in March 2007, but the NFSP Executive Council was concerned at losing his expertise, just at the time when the Government is about to make a major announcement on the future of the post office network.

Therefore it has been agreed that Colin will stay on as General Secretary until 31 March 2008 at the latest. Postwatch looks forward to working with Colin and his NFSP colleagues in the discussions ahead on the vital role of our local post offices.
