28 Days Earlier

Royal Mail has agreed to Postwatch’s request for an extension to the notification period for changes to Callers Offices’ opening hours. Royal Mail will now give 28 days notice to Postwatch, and place notices up at any affected Callers Offices 28 days before the proposed changes come into effect.

Postwatch feels that 28 days notice, as opposed to the initial 7 days, will provide customers and itself sufficient time to make objections if required. Postwatch do however, strongly recommend to customers that if they feel changes to Callers Offices’ services are likely to be detrimental to them, they should complain to Royal Mail during the 28 day notification period, and inform Postwatch of their concerns.
